We promised to plant a tree for every relevant contact, 10 for every new investor, and 100 for every new colleague. Our January harvest is 290 trees, that will be added by OZG to the African Green Wall.
By the end of last year, we decided to cooperate with Ondernemers Zonder Grenzen (OZG) to add a little seed to the creation of the great African Green Wall. This is an initiative of the African countries that are known as the Sahel region. They have agreed to create a forest, connecting both oceans. OZG is the Flemish NGO that is not only planting trees but also creates flourishing local communities around them, so as to safeguard the trees for the long term.
In December and January, we cleaned up our old address databases, and asked for a new opt-in, promising all subscribers to plant a tree as a token of our appreciation. Moreover, we hired one person in January, Saskia Monseur (you can read more about her in this news post). We are keeping our promise and have ordered 290 trees to be added to the African green wall.
Every month, we will keep you posted about this adventure, so that you can take part in the greening of our planet. And if you feel someone else should read the purpose tip, please do not hesitate to forward this blogpost or refer them to this link to suggest them to subscribe to the purpose tip. That gesture too, might lead to us planting another tree to the planet.
Thank you for helping us.
