    Win-win calls are the new networking

    IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR, WE KNOW HOW WE COULD GAIN FROM EACH OTHER

    The new networking is online, via zoom or another video calling app. It’s a bit different, because there is no handshake, no drinks, no buzz and fuzz, no suits and dresses, and no business cards. The new networking requires some new habits, but if you do it right, you can both win from such a call, in a little less than an hour.

    Each week, we are running a series of those short online win-win meetings for several months now. Each week most of the attendants were happy to find a new way to make progress. So it usually is more than worth the hour … for you, as well as for us.

    LET’S TRY IT

    Let’s schedule a meeting of one hour. Honestly, I prefer to start 5-10 mins after the hour, so we have the time to grab a coffee before we start. And, then we will start with one question: tell me about yourself, and about your business. What are your intentions, struggles, needs. And then we do the same from our side, and start looking for a potential win-win.

    In the meantime, we are using the Flxion app to live-share some notes, so we both immediately capture the essence of our meeting, and are able to more quickly find a win-win. Finally, next steps are written down so that the meeting is not a typical dead end, but results in something concrete that can be done. One step per day, is how one makes a big progress over the year.
