REMKO WESTERBEEK
Remko was the global HR manager of Priva for many years. He introduced a new style of HR management and was the people-manager among the people. Now he is one of the founding fathers of ImpactBuilders — as well as one of the godfathers of our PurposePlanet initiative. And he is a great coach of leaders and management teams, while also being a super coach of adolescents.
“People are the most valuable asset of every company. If people are not respected, they will become the biggest cost factor. Do companies really need more reason, to engage their people?”
ABOUT REMKO
Proud dad of three kids. Crazy about basketball. Loves shoes with a strange design. He had no standard career. He roughly rotated jobs every three year. Started as a car mechanic, expo builder, and service technician. Learned to work with other people in the helpdesk, as sales person, … all the way to becoming a global HR manager. In this role, he was quite controversial, and often made his company reflect about the essential purpose of work.
REMKO AS A KICK-STARTER
Managers and leaders hire Remko when they are troubled about their personal future perspective. They get to see the light back again in no time. We have witnessed Remko with team leaders, with staff members, with blue collars, … and also young people appreciate him for his no-nonsense pragmatism and his accessibility.
