“Can I use your scheme in my book on happiness?”
Today, I had an interview with prof. Lieven Annemans (University of Ghent, Belgium). He runs the chair on “Perspectives on a Happy and Healthy Life”. We spoke about happiness in general and happiness at work — the latter being a key component for the first. The interview will be live in a couple of days. I am really looking forward to putting this interview on our homepage as our first ImpactTalk.
After the interview, we were chatting about Lieven’s book on happiness. And about the future of work. Lieven mentioned a quote he had recently read “not the clients but the collaborators should be king”. On which I mentioned the vision of ImpactBuilders that is a key document for all the ValuePartners of our Advisory & Coaching unit. We want companies to change their “operations for money” thinking into a “people for clients” vision. That way, they will produce a much more sustainable profit.
“Interesting. Can you send that scheme to me, Jan? I might use it in my book on happiness”.
It’s great to feel supported by a professor as Lieven Annemans — irregardless whether the scheme gets into the book or not. The mention of interest is already making me happy today š
